We had a field trip on Tuesday. We went to a Mad Science demonstration at a local library.
The seminar was about electricity so the kids got to play around with static electricity.
The kids got to see demonstrations of a Van De Graaff static electricity generator.
The girls had a great time hanging out with old friends.
Afterwards, we went to the post office. On the way to the post office, we saw this flock of about a dozen turkey.
When we first saw the turkey, a couple of them were up in a spindly ornamental crab-apple tree knocking loose fruit for the other birds. I so wanted a shot of them up in the tree but unfortunately, turkey are such shy/flighty birds that I didn't get a chance.
I've got projects to share but I need to find the time and wherewithal to photograph them.
I remember those static electricity demos--such fun to rub a small balloon on your hair & then stick it! Still, beautiful shots of these hard to photograph birds!
