this is my 1111 post on this blog - funny huh?

And I am doing nothing special about it.

In addition to busting my stash, I want to get rid of things I am holding onto for no good reason. Usually, I donate things to a favorite charity thrift store. This time, however, I decided that I had a friend who could benefit. I decided to get rid of the girls childrens' plates. I have a friend with a plethora of grandchildren that she provides daycare for. I thought they would have fun with the plates.

So I shipped the rather ho-hum gift of used dishes in this box, made entirely from items in the stash.

  1. Congratulations on 1111 posts!
That is a great way to give back, you have me inspired (I think my girls are ready to use fine china:)
I would be so delighted to receive a parcel in that wonderful box.
Have a lovely weekend? 1111 posts? many photos? ,

  2. Congratulations for making it to such a beautiful number. Isn't it amazing that you've written that many posts. Wow Melissa!

  3. 1111 Wowza Melissa.

  4. And that beautiful box is sitting in a place of honor in my kitchen! It is absolutely amazing. And the plates.., oh how happy they made the grandkids. Of course, I've claimed the divided plate with the sweet peas as my own.
Congratulations on your 1111 post. I've read them all, and been blessed.

  5. Wow, that's some milestone! How cool to receive a package where the box is as much a gift as what is inside!
