The girls have been through two rounds of swimming lessons this summer. C is taking a writing course and learning to sew. They are also taking horse-back riding lessons.

A couple of weekends ago, my parents visited so I had to rush and paint C's room since all her stuff was out in the basement where the hide-a-bed lives.

Things are relatively quiet now except for my mad scramble to see how many snowmen I can finish before my MIL's birthday.

I will be sharing:

Strictly Homemade Tuesday

  1. These snowmen are gorgeous! I am always amazed at how crafty you are Melissa. Your painting is excellent too. I would never be able to hold my hand steady enough to do that kind of intricate work.

I'm so happy to hear that you have all been enjoying the summer. We have had a lovely cold winter here (nowhere near as cold as your winters though) but it is looking like Spring is just around the corner here!

Well, I hope you stay busy and have fun. take care.

    Best wishes,

  2. Those are some cute snowmen, love them all. Sounds like you've been busy!!

Hope you're having a great week.

  3. Excellent, Melissa! You're so crafty and creative. I love the way you turn ordinary items into adorable snowmen. Be sure to snap a photo of your MIL when she sees them all. How many more to go?

    Happy Wednesday! ☺

  4. I have missed your posts! So many wonderful snowmen, I think the mossy one is my favourite. Horseback riding! how fun!

  5. Ohhhhh. Gorgeous work! I see a snowman book in your future. Seriously. Don't you?

  6. You are doing fantastic! I love them all, especially the Tea Pot one which reminded me of a Beauty & The Beast character and the moss one which I think is so unique! Great work!

  7. You are so creative girl!! Love seeing all your snowmen and how K's is fishing!! LOL
Sound slike your having a great Summer, good for you! Keep it up :)

  8. Ok! Now I have to see what other snowmen you are going to come up with! I just don't know how you come up with all these ideas. :) Love the little wool ones. :) And the girls paintings are darling!
