Pepper Mills

This is my old pepper mill. You can't tell very well in this photo but it is missing the screw on the top. My daughter lost it.

So I bought a new pepper mill at the thrift store. It is almost 18" tall and gorgeous. It doesn't work (but to be honest I half expected it wouldn't and intended to use it for something else).

So when CSN Stores contacted me and told me I could be a Preferred Blogger and asked me to do a product review I agreed. I thought a new pepper mill would be a great choice for me. So I ordered the William Bounds "HM" Twist Chrome Pepper Mill. They had a huge variety of pepper mills to choose from I chose the William Bounds for its compact size and price. I going to do two reviews for CSN.

First, I must say I was impressed with the speed of CSN's order fulfillment. I got a notice the very next day that my order had shipped.

I got my package a week later (via regular shipping over a holiday weekend). In it was my new pepper mill with pepper in it already!!.

I put it through its various processes. It comes with three grind qualities. Coarse, Medium, and Fine.

I did find it a little difficult to switch between grinds but was pleased to find that the coarse is good and coarse just like I like it.

It is hard to tell from the photo but the medium grind is not as coarse.

The fine grind is nice - fine without being sneeze powder.

When I opened it I found that I needed a pliers to loosen the knob on the top. I am assuming that it is a function of the mill being new and that it will loosen up.
