Balboa Park's Air and Space Museum

After the girls' school photos (we would have loved taking photos in this fig tree but it was fenced in). We went to the Air and Space Museum.

Oops how about a couple of outtakes first. The symbol of Balboa Park, the clock tower.

This little guy involuntarily became part of our photo shoot.

Kira shakes Charles Lindbergh's hand.

Discussing why zeppelins were dangerous and why the Hindenburg blew up.

It is a jam packed little museum with lots of information about the history of aviation.

The fighter pilot photo op.

At the controls of a helicopter.

Airplanes don't excite me but history does and this was a fun little museum to explore.

The outakes are delightful too! Such a sweet sweet bunny!

  2. That is one of my favorite museums in Balboa Park. The Ruben H Fleet Science Center is a lot of fun too :) And just across the street from that tree is where I got married, on the patio of the Casa de Prado building :)
