The weekend was spent with my parents, my sister, and her boys. The twins are still in the hospital but are doing very well. They passed their original due date while we were in California. Bryson was made eligible for release this weekend and Bennett will follow as soon as he shows that he will eat enough on his own to keep growing. I got to spend an hour holding Bennett on Saturday.
Yesterday I got up early and weeded in my community garden plot (which after three weeks of neglect, needed it desperately). While there I found two salamanders or the same one twice. Did you know they cry? This one did, it made a high-pitched mewling sound. I also weeded at home and did tons of housework. Today, I am sore and tired.
Believe it or not I still have photos from California to share but today, I am just going to share my video which took me over an hour a second to create.
Rest up friend. I am so cheered by the twins progress. I have no clue how to make a video Yours is very cool with it's effects and it looks like the kiddos had a good VBS.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to hear about the twins' progress - holding a baby for an hour, sigh!
ReplyDeleteThe video is amazing and what a feat. Our God is an Awesome God is another of my daughter's favourite tunes. It looks like you are involved in such an active and vibrant youth ministry. That is so great and your daughters must enjoy it as well. Re
Wishing you a happy and relaxing 4th of July, K
I was so happy to hear that the twins are doing well and are almost ready to go home. How relieved and thankful your sister & her husband must be!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful video! As usual, you captured beautiful expressive photos!
Hooray for the twins continued strength and health! I hear you on tired. This too shall pass. Take care, dear girl.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear the twins are doing better. Every day makes them stronger.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea that salamanders made a sound. We used to catch them all the time when I was growing up. Or maybe they were newts come to think of it. Not sure of the difference.
I can relate to being tired. Hang in there.
