straw weaving

We found this weaving technique at Home Ed Groups via Pinterest. It uses drinking straws for the loom (not sure if that is the correct term or not).

C made herself a bracelet. K did not have the patience or attention span to weave today. I made myself a hairband, which K graciously modeled. It is very comfy and I am wearing it right now.

I have some ideas about different things we could do using this technique that I am anxious to try.

I will be sharing at:

  1. I have never heard of this technique. The projects turned out beautiful, such beautiful photos (you are so good at capturing the eyes). My older daughter is starting to become more coordinated with her hands so I have been looking for different weaving ideas, I am so glad you posted about this (we do quite a bit of beading already).
