the bird's new place in life

The bird I embroidered has become the cover of a box (go figure - I never decorate boxes - sheees!!). On Sunday, I discovered that one of my dearest friends was going to turn seventy today, so I decided that I was going to give her my embroidered piece - I like giving boxes because the recipient can do so much with them.

So, here it is...
