Jeremy Fisher is my latest box. I embroidered the image of Jeremy Fisher on beige fabric. I used fabric from an old tweed jacket for the sides of the box and I trimmed it with a denim skirt hem, two kinds of lace trim, and an old belt.

Love the embroidery Melissa! Jeremy Fisher is a Beatrix Potter character am I right? I think this is my favourite of your boxes so far. The way you've used the belt, the denim and tweed, I like everything about it. It's just so warm and whimsical!

ReplyDeleteThat is seriously perfect! I am a sucker for all things Beatrix Potter, in fact I decorated our first nursery with that theme. Really great use of materials, it all stands out and blends in together just right.
