Gift Boxes (a pretty box using something from the automotive section at Dollar Tree)

Today, I decided to tackle the stash and organize it. Wow - it is amazing!! I will share more when I am done. Here are some more gift boxes.

Box for an food chopper.
Jewelry Box
Interior of previous box.
Interior of the Pooh box in my last post.
Paper mache box from my stash.
Doll bassinet box. Decorated with synthetic lambswool from the automotive department at Dollar Tree and a doily from Dollar Tree (both from my stash as are the buttons).
Shoe box.
So what do you think of the synthetic lambswool/doily combination? Weird or cool? I kind of like them but wasn't sure at first.

Gifts to go in the boxes (all from thrift stores).

Detail shots for fun.

  4. Aww more Pooh bear, I do so love him. The tea cups are great, I've been on the look out for some really nice china tea cups in local charity shops but have been unlucky so far. Hugs. x

  13. What beautiful boxes. I like the lace and wool combo. Life has been full lately, and creating has taken a back seat. I so enjoy looking at all you are doing though.

    Bless you, and yours.

  14. Your boxes are so pretty, I love how you decorated them. I liked the synthetic lambswool, it looked very nice combined with the doily. The gifts are soooo pretty, I loved them all. It's such a great idea to decorate a box and put something pretty in it. I can make them too for Christmas gifts. Thanks for the great idea. There are so many beautiful things at the thrift store, just waiting for a home.
