It's a Zoo Out There

Our Fourth of July weekend didn't quite turn out how we planned it. We had intended to have my parents over but on Friday morning, hubby woke up with 101.4 F temperature.

My Dad had a quintuple by-pass a few years back and so Mom and Dad are careful.

The girls were a bit blue so I took them to our local (adopted) grandparents and did this craft. I saw the idea for these heads in Family Fun Magazine

K's (the first one pictured) is from a milk jug and C's (the one above) is from a bleach container. They were loads of fun to create.

Wild animals have been part of our summer. When we were in Michigan on vacation, we met one of my blog friends at the John Ball Zoo. Here are some of the photos.
