I got the
idea from Junkermidge from
Havin' fun with Junk (and Life in general).
We made it with my Mom during Easter break. We got the rocks during our explorations. Mom wrote the verse on the central stone and the girls wrote the words on the smaller rocks.
The container is an old enamelware bowel my Mom used to use for making bread until a hole wore through. Now it is simply nostalgic and decorative.

I am all about a rock! I think your collection is really cute and special.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea, and the girls look so cute with their rocks!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a good idea.
ReplyDeleteWow. I really need to stay up on my blogs. I didn't even realize you had posted this. Thank you for the mention -- I'm very touched (I'm actually trying not to get weepy, but I didn't want to tell you that). That you made it a family activity and now have a reminder,too....way cool.
