baptismal dress

We got back from our Easter trip last night. I got everything put away and went to bed. I spent most of the getaway reading and taking photos. I finished up one project with my Mom's help and did another one for our Easter table. I will show you some stuff from vacation later. Right now I am going to share my niece's baptism gown.

My Mom made the gown and hand-embroidered it. My Mom is a first-rate seamstress. Her work is lovely!!

I believe that my niece may be the prettiest baby I've ever seen (I hate to say this but I think she may be cuter than my girls were!)

My niece was baptized on Palm Sunday. We were unable to attend so these pictures are some my sister and her sil took. My Mom asked me to enhance them for printing so these have some post work including the removal of some background elements and flash shadow. I was working on my Dad's computer which gave me a great deal of frustration and so those of you who are photographers may notice some clumsy post-work.
