ice storm

There was a dandy little ice storm when we were at my parents for Christmas.



















And so it goes - I withdraw and post very little and suddenly you are flooded with posts.

    The interesting thing about ice (not that there is just one) is that it is beautiful and destructive at once.

    these are lovely. haunting. the ice dangling off the leaves is breathtaking. so ironic. you don't think of a delicate lasting so long with all that cold, cold ice trying to take all the life out.

    I hate ice, snow is bad enough but ice storms are brutal. We are getting one today, with snow to follow.
