pumpkin patch

we went twice - once on Friday evening with friends and once on Saturday evening so Dad could help the girls pick their big pumpkins for carving.

This was our pumpkin patch weekend.

  1. I just love zipping through your pictures, then going back to study my favourites. The dog pile one held so much energy.

We have a Farmall tractor. It's Rod's pride, as it was his grandfather's before him. I like to park it in the front lawn between our apple trees. A rather large lawn ornament, but full of character, I think.

Your two horse shots are wonderful, as are the "grandpa" pictures. So much dignity in old-time farmers.

Looks like you and the girls had a grand time.

  7. Melissa, your comment is a riot! I love it.
You are better, I'll admit it.
I love the portraits you have taken here. The man in a baseball cap is a prize winner!!! And the old horse, both the horse photos, horse by fence is magic!
My word, your girls look so grown! How did that happen?
Is that your husband? He looks like a rock star?
A pumpkin impaled on a fence, sort of grim like headless horseman, love the dark of the grasses in that shot.
How I wish I could be there, it's been in the 90ยบ's around here, still summer time--which I love but enough already, I like to snuggle down as well as walk barefoot in the waves and sand.
