baptism

Michael, row the boat ashore,
Hallelujah.
Michael, row the boat ashore,
Hallelujah.

Sister, help to trim the sails,
Hallelujah.
Sister, help to trim the sails,
Hallelujah.

River Jordan's deep and wide,
Hallelujah.
Milk and honey on the other side,
Hallelujah.

River Jordan's chilly and cold,
Hallelujah.
Chills the body, but warms the soul,
Hallelujah.

Last night our church held an outdoor baptism service. Since I did not ask permission to post images on my blog - I am only posting this photo of the back of some of those being baptized as the wade out to the middle of the lake. It was a beautiful service and I was privileged to photograph it. I got to do something I've wanted to do for a long time, I had the opportunity to photograph an ASL translator at work.
