we went to Legoland the day after Christmas...it was fun except that stinkerbell got scared by water canons early in the day and refused to ride a single ride all day - which was fine except she kept crying every time we walked passed a ride that she thought we might try to make her go on...
we had the big H Christmas party the Saturday after Christmas (that being extended relatives to the nth degree)...the highlight imo was the children's nativity...dramaqueen had been planning it for months...we simplified...
aunt T read the account of Christ's birth from Luke 2 and the children moved around acting it out...no stage and limited costumes, but it was adorable...especially when Mary (dramaqeen) and the angel Gabriel (stinkerbell) decided to grab the water bottle on the hall tree and have a drink...
the angel Gabrielle appears to Mary
Mary and Joseph on their way to Bethlehem...
a shepherd...
we went to SeaWorld
poor stinkerbell - she got stressed out at SeaWorld too - the seal and otter show had canons and they freaked her out she was crying and wanted nothing more than to get out of that crowded stadium...
dolphin's are stinkerbell's favorites - I had no real chance for good photos - too many people pushing around - but the girls are in them so....
we ate at Anthony's before we flew home, the silverman was standing outside of the restaurant, he scared poor stinkerbell to death -- he stands perfectly still and then when someone wanders too close to him, he moves.

Lovely shots. Sounds like you all had a good holiday. :)
ReplyDeleteWow, you did a lot of interesting things!
ReplyDeleteThe lego land looks like someplace I'd like to visit.
Great photos!
All of our Christmas parties were at our house, so it was a 'stay at home' Christmas. I LOVED it. This place feels like home to me now.
ReplyDeleteAlthough, I must say Legoland looks like someplace I would love.
Welcome home!
Happy New Year and Welcome Home! :o) It looks like you had a wonderful trip, and it sounds like Stinkerbell doesn't like loud noises (bless her heart)!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're back!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to visit legoland. I'd definitely be scared by the silverman too!
Great photos as ever.
