a thought

There is an inevitability in life if you live without God. It is a certainty that is frightening because there is no veering off course. The only way to exit the life of inevitability is to find the true Purpose, which is Christ our Lord who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

The nice thing about black and white photography is that the viewer gets to decide what color the flowers are.

I was just thinking how painting like these photos are--very, very Georgia O'Keefe.:) I do love the black and whites,it all comes down to composition when there is no color. I am often tempted to put my pictures in black and white but adore color so much that in the end color always wins out--though usually way over saturated--as much as I can get away with without blowing it out. :)

It is exciting to see the painting in it's frame--always amazing to see how like real art they look framed. :) Art is funny that way. :)

  2. I don't understand when you say that there is an inevitability in life without a personal God, which is frightening. Maybe I'm just being dense. Or maybe I need to think on this longer.

I do see how life without a personal God/Heaven, is sort of finite. If "this is it," then we'd better make the most of our life. But I don't see this necessarily, as a handicap.

Isn't it a good idea to make the most of our life, either way? Either if those with a personal God are right, and there is a hereafter? Or if I am right and there is no hereafter, of which I myself will be conscious? Isn't it a good idea for both of us, to pay attention to every moment of our lives... and live life fully?

Just quietly wondering. No debate. Just wondering... :-)
