Photo Hunter: Steps

Some of you will have seen these photos before. But they fit the theme as well as any in my files of thousands upon thousands of photos.

C had learned the story of Jesus washing the disciples feet in Sunday School. It stuck in her mind. One day while taking a bath she told me she had washed her feet. I did not catch the full importance of this until she began washing her sister's feet.

These are the first steps towards an understanding of the depth of Christ's love for us.

  1. Its funny, many folks dont realize it but your feet affect your whole body, in fact chiroprators will even look well at the feet becuase how we stand on them affects our whole spine. So i think it really meant more than meets the eye, Christ's footwashing. Becuase our feet affect the whole body, and that means something. The earth we walk on, the floors of our homes, the touch of a hand washing, they affect our whole being...

    A Blessed Weekend : ) Wendy

  7. How touching! You are right: she will move from the concrete to the abstract in her journey to understand. Wonderful post.

  8. Thanks for your note over at my blog. I know what you mean about zoos. We played a computer game at the zoo while we were there (which was recommended by a zoo employee for my toddler) and the big cat (I can't remember which one) ended up getting shot by a farmer in the game. I was a little shocked!
But as for the Elephants, they are actually sending them away to a larger elephant habitat because they weren't able to raise enough money to build them a suitable habitat. So they do have some scruples.

    Have a great day!

As for the email--yes. My brain is also in overload. And sleepy. And I think I shall have to respond better tomorrow. :)
