You might remember C's dress that I made her for the Renn Fest and gave to her at Christmas. Well, I made one for K and gave it to her for her birthday. K's dress is a gyspy costume. Both costumes are made from thrift store sheets except for the bronze satin stuff which was a couple dollars a yard at Walmart.
I really like the pattern I used for K's dress. It was very easy to put together. C's dress pattern was good too. However, those sleeves took forever and an age to hem.
Oh I adore the costumes! My kind of sewing (Thrift store sheets) The girls are beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Hugs and blessings, CindyReplyDelete
I love all Renaissance costumes, but these are particularly fantastic...that and the great photos you take. You are so talented. Hope you all have fun and the Ren Faire.ReplyDelete
Not sure if I've already commented, I managed to sign myself out by accident!ReplyDelete
I'm just catching up with my favourite blogs. The costumes are amazing. I wish you lived nearer I have some superhero costumes I need for next Sunday LOL! xx
Beautiful costumes you've stitched, Melissa. The girls are gorgeous & appear to love their new dresses. Do they opt to wear them all time? I know I'd want to do that. ツ Never been to a Renaissance Fair, though I'm sure you all had a wonderful time.ReplyDelete
