an amazing friend

I have an amazing friend from when I first started blogging. Her name is Julie and she is from Australia. She is an incredibly compassionate Christian and a remarkable artist.

When I started blogging again, I told her I would like to give her free ad space on my blog for her Etsy shop. She told me if I was going to do that she wanted me to pick something from her shop. So I picked this little lady, she is just an inch tall.

Julie makes incredible artwork. Among the stuff she makes is intricate jewelry so she also sells run-over from her jewelry stash in her shop. Apparently, she didn't think I picked out enough so she sent me some other things too.

This is a photo of a little doll I ordered from her a couple of years ago. Isn't it absolutely lovely?

The doll bust is from a an old German doll factory. Apparently, they were buried during war and just recently exhumed. Julie bought a lot of them.

She sent me this book as a gift once too. It and the dolls all reside in my bedroom.

Check Julie's shop out. She has some gorgeous charm bracelets in it right now.

I should mention, her price for supplies is dirt cheap.

  2. Unbelievably beautiful! Thank you for sharing these!

And thanks for stopping by my blog. Yes, I used a tension rod. I was going to use a curtain rod, but that required screwing stuff into the wall, and I was already so over it by the time I got home, I said to heck with it and used a tension rod!

    Have a great weekend!
