it was balmy and rainy this weekend
Three days ago the trees looked dead unless one walked up and looked closely at the branches. It was warm on Friday. We got rain on Saturday and that evening I could see that mist of green that lets one know that the trees have fat buds on them ready to burst. Sunday there was a haze of green everywhere instead of naked dark branches.

I was noticing the same thing today- I also saw that the Forsythia bushes are blossoming. this is my favorite time of year, that newness all over everything...

To tell you the truth, I'm enjoying the beginning of Spring all over again with you folks up North. We're green all over and it was in the 80's today. But you...you get to enjoy it fresh for me. :)
