After I used all the pages from this book, I used it as a sort of altered-art bi-fold. The base layer is blue calico print, a poem by A.A. Milne is included, and the thing is layered with dictionary page snowflakes, glitter glue, tissue paper, beeswax, etc.
It looks better large - but on the whole I am rather ambivalent about this one. I closed it up and stuck it on the bookshelf (someone will open it for a surprise some day).
*sigh* how I do love EH Shepard's drawings of Pooh Bear...and his work on Wind in the Willows.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it that you didn't like much about this? I think it's a lovely idea, looks like a poem in a blizzard. :)
Into each life a little rain must fall...they can't all be perfect!
ReplyDeleteI think it is a fabulous way to re purpose a book cover!
ReplyDeleteLet's see...
ReplyDeleteYou could add a picture of each of the girls and set it up like a picture frame.
I like it as it is, but adding a child's picture always increases the charm!
