The secret message style quotes are from Sherlock Holmes - A Scandal in Bohemia. The left-hand page is Watson's lament and the right is Holme's response.
The cool eye page is from a page in a medical book, which I marbleized using the oil marbleization method.
The quotes behind the 'secret message' are various quotes on creativity and the ability to see. Here they are if you are interested.

The thumbprint journaling is an idea I found via Pinterest from the blog See Jamie Blog.

ReplyDeleteYou are such a creative thinker!
*hugs*Deb
Wonderful journal pages and selected quotations, I had forgotten about that Robertson Davies one! That thumbprint journaling is amazing, when I was a kid - I wanted to be a detective and did a school project on fingerprint classification, I just love fingerprints!
ReplyDeleteThat is way cool Melissa. I especially like the quote about rereading a classic.
ReplyDeleteCool pages. That thumbprint writing is neat.
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting to read in those lines the relationship between Watson and Holmes...
ReplyDeleteI agree with the others. The thumbprint is very beautiful. At first I didn't even see the writing in it. It's almost hidden.
Those are awesome! I like the hidden message idea. Pinterest is addicting enough...now I have to go check out that blog, too!
ReplyDeleteLove the hidden message idea! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
