The Last Day of School

One of the things I did with our co-op this year was listen to the guided reading every week. So on the last day of reading, I gave each of the kids a bookmark with the reminder to keep reading. You can find out how to make these bookmarks at The Answer is Chocolate.

This is a sample of the scrap book memory album we made, in which each child wrote a special thank you to the couple who organized our group.

The heart is a printable that I made that each child could glue on the page with their hand prints. It says "Indelible is the hand that you've had in my life."

Our teacher's favorite flower was the tulip so I designed these folded tulip cards for the kids to decorate for her. I will try to scan the template in for those who might be interested in making this card.

I am sharing this at:

  7. What a cute idea! Love the tulips and such a cute teacher gift - I may have to use this idea since our homeroom mom is collecting cards from the kids for the end of the year. So glad I followed you here from the Answer is Chocolate Link Party! I'm also linking up if you'd like to drop by!
    Hugs, antonella :-)
