Don't worry - they won't all be kid's crafts nor will they all be this simplistic.
Chalkboard snowmen. These are easy to create. All it takes is white chalk, black card stock, and an art fixative (or the poor man's version (which we used) hairspray).
Hand print and foot print snowmen. The absurdly high arch in the pair above belongs to my oldest. She has my face and my hair but her body is definitely her dad's, including her high arched, narrow feet.
My one completed contribution (I have three that are near completion). My scrappy, snowman collage.
I love the hand and foot prints snowfolks. My daughter's teacher last year did a handprint picture for each season or holiday. I love them!
ReplyDeleteThis is really fun to see what you are coming up with!
ReplyDeleteYour scrappy snowman collage is BRILLIANT!!!
ReplyDeleteMelissa,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your recent visit and your kind comments on my post about my Mom.
I really love the one made out of sheet music! That is so pretty and I like the boxes in the previous post!
Hugs,
Debbie
The kids artwork are so cute. I remember doing a project in H.S. where I used chalk and hairspray! I still have that project (somewhere) and the chalk is STILL attached!
ReplyDeleteI love your collage too! I love how you used the music sheet paper and putting it on the black cardstock really makes it pop!
I love all your snowmen, they are so creative!
ReplyDeleteWould you post a how-to on how you made the snowman collage? I would love to make one and would appreciate the help! Thanks
