If I had to title this little series, I think most of the photos could fit under the title
Sinking. I visited my sister a couple of Saturdays ago and on the drive home I stopped at a couple of cemeteries as I had no one with me whose interests I needed to consider.
Those are some really neat black and white photos. I love old cemeteries...they have such stories to tell.
ReplyDeletethose are beautiful pictures, thanks for posting. There is so much emotion in them. I loved the ones with statues in them.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, poignant photo essay...thanks for sharing it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. Don't you love it when you can do things when you are out on your own that you can't do when you have the kids or Hubby in tow?
ReplyDeleteMelissa - These are hauntingly beautiful. What gorgeous art you've created in capturing these images. Thanks so much for sharing. Happy Tuesday, friend! :o)
ReplyDeleteI always love your blank and white picture, they feel so peaceful
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing them
PS: Love the TP snowflakes too !
I have some photos taken in the cemetery at Fremont MI. So I have photos of our relatives on Grandma M's side of the family. The next time you come to visit you might want to ask Uncle B. to take you to the cemetery where Grandma and Grandpa M. and some of the other relatives are.
ReplyDeleteWow. It's amazing how peaceful a cemetery can be. Even just looking at your pictures brings a sense of peace. They are lovely. Lisa~
