Time4Learning Review

I recently finished a thirty day trial of Time4Learning an online interactive curriculum for home use for grades PreK through 8th. I received the trial offer around the time that we decided to home school this year. I accepted the offer and let C, my oldest play around with their on-line learning curriculum.

C really likes science/natural history so she mostly worked in that area of their site. C really liked working on their site because we hadn't started school yet, I just let her play around and self-direct. She navigated the site easily and really enjoyed what it taught her.

I prefer that my children have limited screen time and that I do more hands on and interpersonal study with them so a digital curriculum isn't a choice I would make. However, I think it would be a great supplementary tool for parents who need something that allows the children to be self-directed at certain times while they teach other children or take care of business.

Disclosure of Material Connection:
I received a trial offer to use the Time4Learning website from Time4Learning.com. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. 1. We use Time4Learning to supplement #1 and #2's curriculum. They love it. My oldest really learned how to navigate on the computer using their site, it's very kid friendly.

  2. This is too funny that you just reviewed this. We started our T4L courses this week (LA and Science) and so far we all love it!

  3. We used T4L as our core curriculum for our son in grades 5-8 and it was just perfect for him. His math scores in those years came up by 15% on his annual standardized test. For right-brained, or visual, learners like my son I can highly recommend this curriculum.
