personalized umbrellas

The girls made these awhile back. Then they waited for rain so that they could use them. We've had a lot of rain recently and even a bit of snow last Friday.

You can find a tutorial for how we made these at Suite101.

These are Dollar Tree umbrellas. The girls are very pleased with this craft and as I know my girls wreck umbrellas faster than you can say monsoon - these serve but I might see if I can find some nicer ones at Goodwill for the girls to paint when these meet their untimely end.

I am sharing this at:

  1. I might have to try this idea with my son. I don't know how many umbrellas he has either lost or broken! Too Many!!!

Your girls look so happy and very proud!

    Best wishes always,
    Natasha.
