faux butterfly taxidermy

I was looking up the definition of taxidermy when I found this.


I decided I wanted to try my hand at it with paper butterflies. And this is what I made. My effort is diminutive; less than ten inches tall.


The bowl, the base (a votive holder), the moss, and the fake flower were all purchased at Dollar Tree.
