Bonus points if you know where the title comes from!! I've been making like crazy since December. Here is a scarf I made this weekend for myself.
It is based on this scarf at Craftzine but instead of using a sweater, I used some fleece I had laying around.
I followed her directions pretty closely. I discovered after cracking the skin on the pad of my thumb in two that big needles don't go through fleece well. After I started using my seam ripper to slit a few threads for the twine (I used twine instead of ribbon) things started to go better.
C modeled for me.
Gorgeous little girl, and love the scarf as well. Am taken by the color in the photos...so soft. You've definitely got a gift, girl. :)
ReplyDeleteBtw, have missed you!
That's really pretty.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Both Charis and the scarf :)
ReplyDeleteI like the "ruffle-i-ness" of it. Very feminine.
ReplyDeleteScarf is fantastic - your model even more beautiful!
