time away
Do not be concerned. I am taking about fifteen days off from the Internet. The reason isn't even particularly earth shattering.
I recently read an article titled The End of Solitude, which was suggested by my friend Melissa from A Contemplative Joy. The article combined with the suggestion of Angela Thomas in the bible study, When Wallflowers Dance, convinced me to do it.
I will check the email once a day since I am responsible for my family's correspondence. In addition, I will continue writing in order to fulfill my commitment to Suite101.
Take care and I will see you in two weeks.

You WILL be missed.
ReplyDeleteI will miss you.
ReplyDeleteI only had time for a skim - shame - it looked wonderful. I cherish the Quiet after the kids are in bed before hubs gets home from work. But more often than not I spend it here. I need more solitude, too.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy YOURself, Melissa.
See you in a few weeks.
(Thanks for the replies about Narnia and the candle craft - a lot to think about and do.)
(((Hugs)))
ReplyDeleteI realize you might not see this in awhile, but totally stand by you. Might do something similar soon.
ReplyDeleteLove to you! :)
I will miss your posts, but I hope you have a wonderful two weeks.
ReplyDeleteI had a break not so long ago when my computer broke, it is amazing what a lot of time I gained. Enjoy, and i look forward to seeingyou on your return.

ReplyDeleteA-ha! Me too. Been finding I care less and less about things that could be *poof* gone tomorrow. Care more and more about having healthy local relationships and my vegetable garden.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy yourself.
