For me, one sign of good mothering is allowing little girls to have princess dresses and crowns. :) Your girls are a treat!

Btw, our youngest has always had a crown, and seems to require us to replace them when they get broken!

Your photos are beautiful, as always. As are your sweet girls.

  5. Oh, I want to play dress-up at YOUR house.

    Sigh...

I found wings at the craft store, and a clearance priced bridal tiara. The wings are still to big for Famke, and the tiara waaaay to heavy, so they sit in my dresser drawer. Don't tell ANYONE, but sometimes I put the tiara on.

I am starting to look more and more like the queen...

  6. These are so beautifully fine Melissa. I love the garden gate shot and the pine cones one and the hands. You leave me wanting to see more.
Zuzu saw fit to make me a fairy princess this weekend. I painted the weekend away whilst wearing my nighty with fairy wings and crown. Too bad no one was here to get a picture, one of those moments I'd like to remember forever.

  11. Your photos are outrageously beautiful!!! Your girls are preciously beautiful. I so miss those "princess" dress-up years with my daughters....these are the sweetest of days. Isn't it just the coolest to be the mother of girls? I totally lost it this June when my oldest princess walked down the church ailse on her daddy's arm, a bride, in her fairtale princess ivory gown. 25 years of mothering came flying out of my heart when I saw my princess bride daughter...my heart stopped for a moment. Bet yours will too...:) The day will come soon...enjoy.
