the girls' church Christmas program on Sunday night

Don't you love how children just stand up their and do their own thing?

  1. Your girls are SO cute! I love their dresses, too.

Fear of the 'Christmas Program' still tops my list. I very much remember throwing-up out of stage fright.

I love these sort of pictures in black and white. So much more shows up!

  3. Oh, these evoke so many memories... I can practically smell the evergreen and hear the tinkle of bells. :) So sweet.

  4. Oh how sweet the children look as they are getting ready for their program... but I'll be if you asked their leader she would say that they are squirmy... and she can't keep them focused... and a few other things...
Ask Jodi... she used to lead a children's choir... and the Christmas and Easter Programs were always very nerve racking....
but when performed the program is always beautiful!
    the pictures are beautiful...

  7. I LOL'ed when I read your commentary. Yes children's choir directors love the way children stand up there and do their own thing. ;o) No, really they do -- at least when they're your girls age (lol)! Little ones sing with such fervor; they are a joy to work with.

Sweet - sweet! pictures. Probably one of my all time favorites of yours!

Thank you for your comment; I'm so glad you persisted until you got through.

  9. Very sweet - it brought back memories of my kids - and of my own childhood actually.

I liked the photos of your mom too - especially the one where she's smiling/laughing. She is a beautiful woman.

The Christmas presents you made are awesome - you're very creative. Very cute idea to use photos as ornaments on the tree.

Melissa, I've been really bad about getting around to visit blogs - but I've been thinking about you. Hope you're feeling better and they're figuring out what's going on. Take care.
