Yesterday I woke up feeling gross. By the time C was at school, I had a splitting headache so I spent most of the rest of the day sleeping.
Thankfully, my main priority every day of the week is to make sure supper is ready by the time hubby comes home. With that in mind and with the added issue of hubby's rather erratic work hours, I make my food in the morning so that I do not have much in the way of last minute food preparation in the evening.
I am the queen of the crockpot and make ahead meals.
I was very thankful for my priority list yesterday.
Tonight I will draw three names!! :)
I love my crockpot for exactly the same reasons--around here we eat when hungry--which can make things rather tricky.
ReplyDeleteVery sorry you weren't feeling good. Routines are very reliable for those days. Take care of yourself :)
ReplyDeleteCrock pots and make-ahead's rock!!! Loved casseroles, before the crock pot came into my life. :-)

Me ~ Are you sure you knocked out that sinus infection you had not so long ago? I wondered that when you talked about being blue ... I had a severe sinus infection about 4 years ago that lasted for 4 months; the pressure from my sinuses caused me to have sudden moments or whole days of depression (which I'd not had before or since) and awful headaches. Just a thought.
ReplyDeleteI love your cook ahead ideas. I really need to use my crock pot more often!
