What I made hubby for Valentine's Day. The text is lyrics from a Thompson Twins song that was a particular favorite of his when I met him (King for a Day). The red thing on his head is a checker crown side up (it didn't photograph terribly well).
I think I will change the photo of the girls in this little collage when I find one I like. Bonus points for whomever can tell me where the quote comes from.
Beatrix Potter: I am rummaging through my head for which story: but it is the frog come to visit --me thinks. I am much better at remembering where to find out the information then the information itself.
ReplyDeleteLove the collages -- and I am so impressed that you are thinking so far into the future -- I know it is only two weeks away, but I don't generally start thinking about such things until the day before. Thanks for the reminder --

Oh, that's that fat old Mr. Jackson talking to Thomasina Tiddlemouse in 'The Tale of Mrs. Tiddlemouse'...I've practically got that one memorized!
ReplyDeleteYour gift to your hubby is so sweet. I need to do something myself.
Hugs to you!
Love these both. I haven't a clue on the quote.
ReplyDeleteJust checkin' in to see who knew the quote ;)...my daughter never did like me to read Beatrix Potter...not sure why ;(
ReplyDeleteI was here yesterday admiring but blogger wouldn't let me comment.
ReplyDeleteSome Beatrix Potter book, but I see someone else has gained the bonus points for the book title, lol.
These are very cool Me. Have a great weekend.
The messy Mr Jackson chilling out even when barred from Thomasina Tittlemouse's post-spring clean tea party - I read that almost every day to our son!
ReplyDeleteAh. I missed the fun. I was waiting all day to see if that picture would load. We love Beatrix Potter around here, so much so that my 7 and 9 year od still listen to tapes of the stories, including Mrs. Tittlemouse.
ReplyDeleteLove both of these. very fun.
i love that song! haven't heard it in ages! You are so amazingly creative! I love it!
