crazy hair night at Wednesday night bible study

Immediately after I took this photo, the girls and I went to Urgent Care so I could get antibiotics for a sinus infection, I look forward to having more energy!!

I made the girls skirts out of men's shirts following a tutorial I found at Blue Babe's Create (via Pinterest).

I saved the collars for a type of choker or necklace. Dumb or cool?

fall crafts with the girls

We've been making lots of tree/leaf crafts. We made these awesome paper bag trees by Amanda of Crafts by Amanda (via Pinterest).

We made these thumbprint trees using a template from Style Unveiled (via Pinterest).

We made tons of leaf prints like the one above (K thought they were the absolute most fun to make) from Kleas (via Pinterest).

We created this little tree using a branch from our ugly dying bushes, and coffee filter leaves (we used food coloring instead of water coloring as suggested in the instructions) with an idea from The Crafty Crow (via Pinterest).

And finally we made these dragonfly silhouettes based on an idea in my brain (via my hands).

apple picking

This weekend I met my parents, my sister, and her family to go apple picking. A and I tried to figure out how long we've been doing this and we think it has been five years. The first couple of years it was just her, the girls, and I. For the past three years my parents have joined us and of course now that A has her adorable son K he comes too.

While we waited for the tractor, Mom and the girls posed for a fun picture, while hubs and my Dad visited.

The girls hung out with K while we wait some more for our tractor.

Then we spent time on the tractor waiting while the volunteers figured out what they were doing.

Finally we make it out to pick apples.

My nephew provides a tutorial on how to enjoy an apple.

Other people follows his example

I don't know how many of you remember my nephew, he had a heart problem when he was born. He is a very fun and funny little boy.
